Happy Monday, 6th Graders! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ms. Townsend is here today, I will be back tomorrow. Please settle in by independent reading or working on your open-note post-assessments.  You CANNOT take these home! Remember, my study session to finish these assessments are tomorrow at lunch and after school! 

After you finish working on your post-assessments or independent reading, please begin working on your narratives! Remember, these are due on Thursday. You should be nearing the editing phase. On Google Classroom I have posted a short story/narrative editing checklist that can help you edit your narratives so they are ready to be turned in by Thursday! Again, my help session is tomorrow at lunch and after school if you need to come in!

Genius Hour presentations begin TOMORROW!!! Please make sure you have your infographic with your bibliography and you bring in your products starting tomorrow! You have worked very hard to become an expert on your topic, and I cannot wait to learn from each and every one of you!

Happy Thursday! Today is Genius Hour! Please settle in by independent reading. After independent reading I would like you to open up Google Classroom. I have created an expectations/rubric related to Genius Hour and your presentation. I would like for you to read this before you begin your Genius Hour research/work on your infograph/bibliography. Keep in mind, you need to have some sort of product showing the class what you learned! I will be back tomorrow, you can e-mail me with any questions and we can also talk on Friday.

Remember, we have Socratic Seminar tomorrow. You NEED to have the socratic seminar prep completed and the two short stories in order to enter the seminar!
