Smell me, buy me, and deliver me.
Still, I won't change.
What am I?

Happy Surprise Snowy Friday! Please settle in by independent reading.

Today we will:
Use the Cornell note-taking strategy to take notes on personification and simile.
So we can:
Determine the meaning of specific words in a text and analyze how they impact the meaning in a poem.
We will know we have it when:
We write a poem using the literary devices we have learned.
Homework:
Read for 30 minutes
Reminders:
Have a great weekend!

Poem Quick-Write Directions:
Write a poem that focuses on personifying one object or animal. Your goal should be to give your reader a new perspective on that object or animal. Use personification, similes, and the other literary devices you have learned to help you. Your poem should be between 5-10 Lines
