Happy Monday! Can you believe spring is already here?! Please settle in by independent reading, we will be heading down to the library after I take attendance for our class check out!

Today we will:	Read a non-fiction text and answer comprehension questions.
So we can:	Identify and describe text structures an author makes to create meaning in his or her writing.
We will know we have it when:	We are able to apply different non-fiction text structures to our own writing.
Homework:	Read for 30 minutes Update tracking list
Reminders:	I still have many of you that have not completed assessments. It is your responsibility to check Google Classroom or I.C. to see what is missing and then come to a help session to finish these assessments.
